Other Appearance Information: Vincent is a stereotypical Master criminal. His black hair, streaked with grey, is short and cropped, always looking very professional. He wears a black pinstripe suit and blue tie, as well as a black bowler hat. He carried a short walking cane with him at all times, although he doesn't need it to walk, it just makes him feel more powerful and professional looking. The cane also has another use though. Vincent doesn't like to carry his pokeballs on a belt like most trainers, instead he keeps them inside his cane. At the press of a button he can release one of his pokemon from the end, as well empty pokeballs used for capturing.
He has a small found face, with angry looking eyes. Which always seem to be glaring. Although he's not the most attractive Man, his unimaginable riches attract many of the female Blackout workers. He speaks in an italian accent. Vincent will always be wearing a suit, unless sleeping or showering. He doesn't exercise but his high metabolism means he's still pretty slim. If at any point all his. Suits are in the dry cleaners, he has a habit of buying another suit worth the sum of all his other suits combined.
Personal Related Information:
Personality: Vincent is the kind of guy who cares only for himself and no one else. His life revolves around two things, money and power. Without these two things he would most likely kill himself. It's lucky for him then, that he has enough of both to last a lifetime. Although he has many 'Friends', he doesn't really care for any of them, and mostly his relationships are Purely diplomatic, allowing him to keep control of Team Blackout.
Vincent is extremely manipulative, he can get almost anyone to follow his orders without even raising his voice. It is thought by most of the Blackout grunts that he stays in the base most of the time, but this is wrong. Although Officially, this is the case, in reality he prefers to go out through the Kumogata region and look for more Rare Pokemon for his collection.
The default orders he gives to all Blackout grunts are simple. He sends the grunts to find as many rare pokemon as they can and return them to him. Vincent then sells on these rare Pokemon to rich trainers who are too weak or unlucky to catch their own. However some of these pokemon, Vincent takes a liking to. These ones he keeps as his own, training them up and making them strong. He thinks of his pokemon as toys and not as living creatures, and this shows in his ruthless battling style.
History: Vincent was born in the small island town of Ratus, his parents being drunken fools who had no money and no jobs. As a result of this, Vincent had a very hard childhood. He lived in a very small, dirty home and he was often alone while his parents went out partying or drinking. Eventually, this horrible lifestyle got too much for Vincent and he ran away. The nine year old boy stowed away on a small ship which took him to the mainland. From there he travelled around by himself as a traveling performer, his act being knife juggling. Through this he earned enough money to clothe himself, and buy just enough food to keep him alive.
For a long time he thought that would always be his life, but then one day his life changed forever. He was traveling down the road to Altos city when he was attacked by a small green pokemon. He panicked and through a knife at the pokemon, who was later revealed to be a Ivysaur, but it made no difference and the pokemon continued it's attack. Just as Vincent was about to be severely injured, a tall man in a dark suit threw a pokeball at it, and within seconds the beast was contained. The main smiled at him, saying his name was Basille, and that Vincent had promise. He said he saw great things in the fourteen year old boy, and before he could say anything else the seemingly legitimate business man had taken on Vincent as his apprentice.
The next ten years were a whirlwind of excitement for Vincent. He was doing what he loved best, getting money. He soon found that cheating and scamming was far more rewarding than juggling knives, and before long he was as accomplished a criminal as Basille himself. It was when Vincents was in his late twenties that Basille passed away at the age of sixty-one. However, much to Vincent's annoyance and anger He left his company, known in the criminal world as Arugalla, to one of his other apprentices.
Vincent was furious. He sold his shares in the company for a modest price and stormed out to make his own fortune. With the millions he'd made in Arugalla, he managed to hire a group of mercenaries, who he commanded to steal some rare pokemon from an ex-elite four member who had retired five years ago. The operation was a success and Vincent sold on all the rare pokemon for a hefty sum of money. All of them, save one. One of the pokemon in the old man's collection Was an Absol. Vincent took a liking to the pokemon and kept him, making the Absol his first pokemon.
Over the years, Vincent's pokemon stealing operation grew bigger and bigger as he hired more mercenaries and grunts to steal pokemon for him. He mostly sold them on for profit, but like with the Absol whenever he saw a pokemon he thought looked powerful or especially rare he kept it, and slowly over the years his team grew larger and more powerful. Eventually this pokemon stealing operation was so large that Vincent decided it was time to organise it properly.
Vincent returned to his home island of Ratus, where he purchased a large warehouse on the edge on the town. He turned the warehouse into something of a base, offering several of the mercenery grunts permentant jobs as executives. One year later, Vincents criminal organization which he named Blackout, was up and running. Hundreds of pokemon were being stolen each month, all being sold for huge profits on the black Market. Life was good and Vincent was happy. He made a few close friends among the Blackout Executives, though he didn't really care for them much. Vincent was in for a shock when to his surprise, elite four member Parker asked to join his organization. Vincent readily agreed and soon people were flocking from around the region to join his organization, Team Blackout.
Pokemon Team
Name: Solstice Gender: Female Species: Absol Age: 23 Attacks: Sucker Punch, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Perish Song Level: 60 Exp: 0/180 Personality: Solstice is a proud pokemon, although she is Vincent's favourite pokemon she harbours no love for him and follows his commands purely out of respect. She was the first pokemon that Vincent obtained, and often thinks of herself as superior to the rest of the Team for this reason. She doesn't get on with the males of the team, especially Tyro, who's brawn and fiery aggresiveness she finds most distasteful and the two often get into arguments. Solstice would much prefer to hang about with Equinox the Umbreon. The two of them are good friends and can often be found hanging out with each other. Solstice is a silent pokemon when fighting, preferring to take out her opponents with one swift and powerful blow as oppose to the Violent and quite tiring strategy used by most of the males of the team.
Name: Equinox Gender: Female Species: Umbreon Age: 22 Attacks: Dark Pulse, Mean Look, Faint Attack, Last Resort Level: 60 Exp: 0/180 Personality: Equinox is a shy kind of Pokemon who doesn't like fighting as much as the others. She prefers to stay out of her pokeball to, another unusual trait, however Vincent isn't the kind of trainer who abides to his pokemons wishes and so although she doesn't like it Equinox is forced to stay in the pokeball like the rest of the pokemon on the team. Although she isn't the only female on the team, she often feels like she is, especially when Solstice gets in a fighting mood, as often happens. She admires Solstice for her strength, and though she doesn't know it, if Equinox was to push herself as hard as Solstixe did then she'd be as strong if. Not stronger that her good friend the Absol. Equinox also enjoys the company of Vincent, unlike the others on the team. Unfortunately, Vincent sees her as a toy and doesn't enjoy her company as much as she does his.
Name: Fire Gender: Male Species: Houndoom Age: 13 Attacks: Fire Fang, Flamethrower, Crunch, Nasty Plot Level: 55 Exp: 0/165 Personality: Fire has the strongest sense of Justice in Vincent's team, he doesn't like to be the one to finish other people pokemon off and doesn't like to be around when Vincent is doing his criminal activities. As a result of this he's quite unreliable and Vincent never knows when he will follow his orders and when he will just ignore him. Fire looks down on the other pokemon in the team, especially Smoke who he sees as a brute, which frankly he is. Fire's closest friend in the group is Equinox, he likes her because she's calm and doesn't just want to fight or do something else violent the whole time. He and Equinox are the only two members of the team who haven't been affected that much since Vincent stole them. Fire gets very annoyed when he is sent out at the same time as Smoke, which often happens. As Vincent puts it, 'No Smoke without Fire,'
Name: Smoke Gender: male Species: Mightyena Age: 9 Attacks: Assurance, Theif, Suckerpunch, Embargo Level: 54 Exp: 0/162 Personality: Smoke is what you'd call feral. He doesnt socialize with the other pokemon of the group at all, ever. When he is let out, which is rarely, he will go off by himself and sharpen his claws or attack something. Unless of course, he's in a battle. In this case he will fight to the death no matter what the odds. He just doesnt seem to comprehend that he could get hurt at all. He doesn't like anyone else, but the only person he truly hates is Vincent. He wishes he could somehow escape from his pokeball and return to the wild, but he's not nearly smart enough to work out how to do something like that, and Vincent gives him no chances to get away. Of all the team, Smoke is let out the least because of his Animalistic, uncivilized personality.
Name: Spectre Gender: Male Species: Spiritomb Age: About 200 Attacks: Hypnosis, Dream eater, Nightmare, Dark Pulse Level: 52 Exp: 0/156 Personality: Spectre, unlike the other pokemon of the team has been around for a long time, long before the birth of Vincent. He was born about two hundred years ago in an underground tomb, deep in the mountains of the Kumogata region where he was stuck for many, many years. He was uncovered a few years ago by a couple of Blackout grunts who immediately bought him to Vincent for inspection. The Criminal Mastermind rewarded them and instead of selling him on for a huge profit, as he was very rare and would have fetched a hefty price, he decided to add the ghost pokemon to his collection. Spectre's philosophy is what you'd call appeasement. He hates his trainer and wants to see him gone, but unlike his feral teammate, Smoke, Spectre knows that it's not going to be easy. He resolves to follow Vincents orders, but only until he finds an opportunity to escape. As a result he'll follow Vincents instructions to the letter and is one of the Blackout leaders favorite battle pokemon.
Name: Tyro Gender: Male Species: Tyranitar Age: 18 Attacks: Dark Pulse, Payback, Crunch, Stone Edge Level: 57 Exp: 0/171 Personality: Tyro is what you'd call a 'Macho Man'. He doesn't believe that there should be any females on the team at all, especially weak ones who don't want to battle like Equinox. He sees Vincent as a good master, and will follow all his commands simply because he believes it is the right thing to do. He has mixed feelings about Solstice, because although she's a female and he doesn't believe that Females can be good fighters, she breaks this mould as she is a superb battler and has even bested Tyro himself several times during practice battles. He Generally just roars a lot, and will attack most living creatures on sight. The one human or pokemon who can control him is Vincent. He thinks of Smoke as his apprentice, and is always trying to teach him important lessons about battling, though the Dark Dog rarely listens to these 'lessons'.
