Battle Rules
1. No Godmodding: This basically means that you can't fire attacks at an opponent, and say how they hit. In a battle, we have to trust the opponent to be fair and say whether they dodge or get hit. Likewise, you can't dodge every attack either, as it is not fair on the opponent, and if you both do it then the battle will never end. Take into account, different moves will be roleplayed differently for different people, but I hope you'll be fair in the way you battle.
2. Terrain: Depending on the area you're fighting in, you may find yourself surrounded by some sort of terrain such as Pillars in a Temple, or Rocks in a valley. You may use these things to your advantage if you wish, but only if you hit them with an actual attack, and make a fair judgement on how long the item would stay up for (if it's a structure), then you can use the terrain to your advantage. Weather can also come into play, but remember, if it's raining, then it will hold the exact same effects as rain dance, and likewise for different weathers.
3. Stat Based Attacks: If you're a clever battler, you may well have strategy, and in that strategy you will have moves such as Sword Dance, Double Team and various others. These will affect stats in some way, and you have to make sure its shown how much your stats are affected, and make sure its fair relating to the move. If you're not sure how much it will improve you, you can ask a staff member to check it over for you, or if you're in a reffed match of course the ref will be fair.
4. Team Members/Battle Ammounts: Each trainer may enter a battle with a minimum of one Pokemon, and a maximum of six, as the games and show. You may send a maximum of two Pokemon onto the field at once, only in a double battle, unless against numerous trainers or in a plot mission. Double battles are certainly allowed, and there is also such a thing as a Multi Battle. Two trainers or more facing against an opponent with the same ammount of trainers. In these battles, only one Pokemon per person to be sent out.
5. Hold Items/TMs: You may not change your Pokemons hold item, nor teach them TMs/HMs during the course of the battle.
6. Items: You may use two items per Pokemon in a battle. One must be a healing, and the other must be something different. You may not use two healing items per Pokemon, or two other items per Pokemon.
7. Turns: Pokemon can use a maximum of two attacks per turn, and this may be changed at a later date. Of course, Pokemon will lose energy faster if they use two attacks rather than one, so a breather every once in a while is advised.
